Recovery straps are made of nylon fabric that stretches when needed. Also called “snatch straps”, these straps have loops on each end for attachment at appropriate frame points. Recovery straps do not have tow hook attachments and should not be used with metal hooks. The wider the recovery strap, the less elasticity it will have. Towing straps, on the other hand are made of a less stretchy polyester fabric best-suited for towing free moving vehicles in situations where environmental resistance is not anticipated. They usually come with metal hooks on both ends. Traditional tow straps and chains are prone to breakage under the strain of a recovery operation.

Our recovery straps range in width from 4 in. to 12 in. and come in 16, 20, or 30ft. lengths. Made from 2 ply heavy duty polyester with tough Cordura sleeves for longer life. Extra stitching along the edges to prevent wear and fraying. UV Protection coating to prevent discoloration and brittleness. When storing your straps, make sure they are out of direct sunlight and excessive heat (>194 degrees Fahrenheit). Clean your straps with sprayed water – never use harsh chemicals.
