Wet the threads on the handle
using the included blue thread locker. Usually a drop or two is
sufficient. Set aside, but within reach.
STEP 2
Insert the plunger into the
spring. Take note of the direction of the threaded hole.
STEP 3
Insert the spring and plunger
into the camlock body with hole pointing up and towards the center of
the frame. Compress the spring, revealing the hole. Insert the handle
and turn clockwise until hand tight. Rotate the handle to the
disengaged position. Use pliers to fully tighten the handle.
STEP 4
Install rubber cap. Cycle the
handle to and from the engaged and disengaged position to ensure the
handle functions smoothly. Add 1-2 pumps of grease to the grease
zerk.
Always inspect
for any evidence of physical damage such as bending, cracking, and
any defects. If there is any damage, DO NOT USE, and replace with
an ITD cam lock.
