Wheel Chock

Cargo Management, Roadside Assistance and Auto Hauling

Wheel chocks or just chocks are wedges made of sturdy material that are placed closely against a vehicle's wheels to help prevent accidental movement. Chocks are placed for safety as well as setting the brakes. The bottom surface of a wheel chock is sometimes coated in rubber to strengthen grip with the ground. A rope may be tied to the chock or a set of two chocks for fast, easy removal. One edge of the wedge has a cupped profile to contour to the wheel and increase force to overrun the chock.
